After having good experience with Biotique watercress conditioner, I bought Biotique walnut bark shampoo from my local supermarket. Actually the body lifting claim caught my eye 🙂 and I have ended up buying this .I have been using this for a month , now in my 2nd bottle. Let’s see whether it holds the claim
Product Description :
This rich, body-building formula is a blend of pure walnut bark, musk root, amla, soap nut and black malya flowers, to thoroughly cleanse, and revive hair for a fuller, thicker, lifted look.
Rs. 159 for 210 ml
Akhrot chal (Jugens regia), Amla (Emblica officinalis), Ritha(Sapindus mukorossi), Bhringraj (Eclipta alba), Himalayan water Q.S.
Walnut Bark is derived from a black furrowed tree that exudes a dark brown honey with smoothing and strengthening properties. Ideal as a scrubbing agent to purify, smooth and brighten skin texture and tone.
How to use :
Apply liberally to wet hair and work lather through strands, from scalp to ends. Rinse well with water.
My hair type:
Dry hair with dry scalp
The shampoo comes in usual Biotique type sturdy bottle and its safe for travelling as well, if you don’t mind it for being bulky. The shampoo claims to be herbal , but I dint get any herbal smell . It effectively removed oil from hair and don’t need to use much shampoo to clean my hair.It lather well and can be washed off with ease. It does not leave any residue behind and cleans the scalp of oil and dirt. Scalp feels fresh and squeaky clean. Hair definitely gets a slightly lifted look. It doesn’t necessarily add much shine, but hair feels slightly soft and smooth.
You can’t skip conditioner especially if you have dry hair like me. Overall its value for money and a decent buy. I don’t feel bad or great with this buy. It’s a usual shampoo on its segment
